LES FONTAINES

Les Fontaines

Mr. H. Sillaste has been tweaking the knobs for a while and experimenting with thoughts outside of the knobs. Mr. L. Peter has also applied his knowledge of “electronic” instrumentation to many projects as the self described “soundscape engineer”. pressing keys and applying patterns to mr. h sillastes’s rhythm arrangements is the next step in a manificently precise plan. Toronto’s Les Fontaines release their debut 7″ single on the paper+sound record label. Wrapped in a fanciful sleeve, the single has been released in a limited edition of 200 copies. Once they’re gone…they’re gone! Les Fontaines will be releasing their debut album “Magic Touch” on paper+sound, in Summer 2012.

Scenes from the Future

These scenes are from my new graphic novel, not so new to me because I have worked on it for too long, but it is finished and will be released in 1 years time. I have been in Quebec city to finish it off and do all the necessary edits, revisions etc. I don't have a title yet, but have a few ideas in mind, and a bit more time to think about it. I am not including any details yet as to what it is about, but I can say that it is fictional, and more fantasy than science fiction. I hope to generate a bit more interest in this and other comics projects this year on this blog... also up to date listings on other passions like record collecting and musical projects.

3 albums I picked up while in Quebec city this past week! I am excited to listen to them but instead I'll just post these images and wait until I get home to my turntable.
Blue Sound lp from 1983, La Chambre Nuptiale by Michel Madore, and Temps by Darras & Desumeur are pictured above. Other treasures of my searches are: Men without Hats original self released 10" record form 1980, Images in Vogue Educated Man first album from 1982, Shoc Corridor A Blind Sign EP 1982, Space Art Onyx, Moebius 1979 self titled LP, Paris France Transit LP 1982, Peter Baumann romance 76, and many more!! I adore l'Quebec, la radio is bon too.
I would have posted more images of art from my Blue Sci-Fi Paintings, but I had camera troubles and never got to do it in time. Oh well, I will post later. I am in Quebec to finish my long long over due comic book, yet untitled even! Almost done, only 13 pages to go of 200!! I will post something from that too when I get to it. Along with a description.
